Mia’s Photography: Terms & Conditions

Welcome, and thank you for choosing Mia’s Photography. Please take a moment to read through the following Terms and Conditions before booking. These policies are in place to create clear expectations, protect both the photographer and the client, and ensure your session runs as smoothly and professionally as possible.

By booking a session with Mia’s Photography, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Deposits

To officially reserve your date and time, a $20 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit goes toward your total session cost. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session, before your shoot begins.

Bookings are not considered confirmed until the deposit is received. Availability is first come, first served.

2. Payments

The remaining balance must be paid in full at the start of your session. Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, or any method previously agreed upon. If full payment is not made, no photos will be delivered until the balance is cleared.

Late payments may result in delays in your final gallery or the cancellation of your session.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Your $20 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

If you need to reschedule, you may do so once at no additional cost, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book again.

No-shows will result in the loss of your deposit and may impact future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session time may be shortened to ensure I can stay on schedule with other clients. Please arrive on time and ready to begin so we can make the most of your session.

If you are over 30 minutes late without notice, the session may be considered a no-show and canceled without a refund.

5. Session Duration & Add-Ons

Each session has a designated duration, which will be discussed at the time of booking. If you want to add extra time, locations, outfit changes, or custom features, these must be arranged in advance and may come with additional charges.

 Add-ons include:

• Extra outfit: $10

• Rush edits: $15

• Additional edited photos: $5 each

• Location over 30 mins away:  20$

Add-ons will be billed accordingly and added to your total for the final session.

6. Image Delivery & Editing

Final edited photos will be delivered digitally via a private online gallery within 5 to 10 business days after your session. If delays occur due to circumstances beyond my control, I will communicate with you as soon as possible.

Clients will receive the number of edited photos outlined in the package they selected. Any additional photos or edits requested after delivery may be available for an extra fee.

Retouching includes basic corrections such as color, lighting, cropping, skin smoothing, and minor blemish removal. Requests for advanced editing or manipulation (e.g., body reshaping, background changes) may incur additional costs and may not always be available.

Raw (unedited) images are not delivered under any circumstances.

7. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for arriving on time, bringing any requested items (such as props or outfits), and ensuring all members of their session group are prepared. Please communicate any specific requests or ideas in advance so we can plan accordingly.

If your shoot is outdoors or weather-dependent, I recommend having a backup plan in case of rain, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions. I’ll work with you to reschedule if necessary due to weather, but the deposit remains non-refundable.

8. Image Rights & Usage

Mia’s Photography retains full copyright of all images created during the session. Clients receive personal-use rights, which means you may share your images on social media, use them for personal websites, print them, or use them for gifts.

Commercial use, resale, or distribution of the images for profit is not permitted without written permission and a licensing agreement.

Mia’s Photography reserves the right to use images from your session for promotional purposes, such as posting to my portfolio, website, or social media. If you would prefer your images not be shared, please request this before your session.

9. Packages & Add-On Terms

Packages include a specific number of sessions, edited photos, and features. Package sessions must be booked within the timeframe stated and cannot be carried over or rescheduled indefinitely.

All package payments are final and non-refundable. If you choose to cancel before completing all sessions in your package, no partial refund will be given.

Add-ons and customizations (such as extra time, outfit changes, or behind-the-scenes footage) can be included at the time of booking and must be paid in full before the shoot.

10. Safety & Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a safe, fun, and smooth experience, Mia’s Photography is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred during the session. Please choose locations and outfits that are appropriate and safe.

By participating in a photoshoot, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks.

11. Communication & Contact

All official booking communications will be handled through the platform you book on (e.g. website, Instagram, or email). Please provide accurate contact information and keep an eye on your messages to confirm details.

Final Note

These terms are here to protect both the client and the photographer, ensure fairness, and provide a clear, professional experience. I appreciate your understanding, and I’m excited to create something amazing with you!
